Rising PC Doctor is a free safety-aided software that was newly developed by Rising Technology, and it was designed to tackle all complicated problems facing users during the process of operating computers. Rising PC Doctor includes eight function modules like “Audit”, “Trojan cloud security”, “Bug fixing”, “Repair”, “Optimization”, “Rising cloud security”, “Rising software controller” and “Function collection”. It can update function assemblies in accordance with users’ demands and internet security issues to meet the various demands of different users.

      ”Audit” provide users with the function of finding out your computer ‘s security situation by only clicking one key and give relevant security scores. Users can solve corresponding security problems with clicking the button as per the examination results.

      Rising PC Doctor provide users with two types of operation methods, namely automatic examination and manual examination. The former runs the examination automatically when users open the software interface (each launch or the first launch of each day); while for the latter, users shall click “Examine immediately” button in the software interface to run the function; users can change the settings of examination methods in the item settings.

      The items in “Audit” includes:

      1) Anti-Trojan in the critical sections of operating systems.
      2) Whether the operating systems have bugs
      3) Whether there are computer problems that needs to be fixed
      4) Whether there are startup items that can be optimized
      5) Whether there are malicious plug-ins in browsers
      6) Whether there are using traces (internet traces, system traces and application program traces)
      7) Whether there are junk files
      8) Whether the operating system has Rising Antivirus software
      9) Whether the operating system has Rising Firewall software

The Protection module combines Rising Antivirus software with Rising Firewall software to conduct the real-time monitoring for the system so as to guarantee the system security.



2.2.1 System Security Monitoring

      It examines whether the popular antivirus software that protect system security are installed in the operating system.

2.2.2 System Vulnerability Monitoring

      It automatically detect the system Leaks and software Leaks that exist in the operating system and remind users to repair the Leaks.

2.2.3 Malicious Sites Access Monitoring

      It intercepts malicious websites including phishing websites, malicious URL to defend the security of users’ personal information.

2.2.4 Real-time Monitoring of Malicious Files

      When you open a file, it will intercept and kill Trojan, backdoor and other viruses automatically.

2.2.5 USB Flash Disk Virus Immunity Monitoring

       Prevent virus in USB Flash Disk running in system so as to guard the system against infection.

Rising PC Doctor software has multiple convenient and easy-to-operate methods of searching and killing Trojans, including Quick Scan, Overall Scan and Custom Scan.



2.3.1 Quick Scan

      Quick Scan will scan the systems where Trojans easily exist and hide, such as the critical sections including memory, system services, system drives, etc. Its speed is fast and its efficiency is very high. Generally speaking, most Trojans can be eliminated with Quick Scan, and it can prevent Trojans from embezzling users’ passwords or modifying the systems.

2.3.2 Overall Scan

      Overall Scan will scan critical sections and all the disks in computers to entirely eliminate Trojans in computers.

2.3.3 Custom Scan

      Custom Scan will scan the scope users have designated, including system critical sections and disk directory. Users can run the Anti-Trojan after the targets are confirmed in accordance with their needs and this operation is applicable to users with certain knowledge of computer security.

      In order to make users’ computers obtain the information about relevant patch updates provided by official channels at earliest time and rapidly install these patches, Rising PC Doctor provides the function of repairing Leaks.

      Users can use default Leaks settings that are recommended by Rising PC Doctor, or customize the Leaks that need repairing by clicking “Repair immediately “button to repair them. Or users can check relevant vulnerability settings and click “Ignore “button to add these Leaks to the list of ignored items.

      Some application software may modify the files and registry information in computers, including rogue software. Repair will scan all possibly modified folders and registry locations to check and analyze whether any files or registry entries were modified.

      The maliciously modified registry or system location is one of the representations that computers are attacked. Therefore, Repair will scan all locations of the system, including all registry entries and system locations (such as desktop, start menu, browser favorites, etc.), and it will also scan the relevant entries of IE registry and the setup directory of IE to analyze whether the settings of these locations are normal and whether they are used by Trojans.

      For the detected dangerous items, users can click “Details” button to check the modified information, shown as below.



      Users can use default repairing settings that are recommended by Rising PC Doctor, or customize the dangerous items that need repairing by clicking “Repair immediately” button to repair them. Or users can check relevant dangerous items and click “Ignore” button to add these dangerous items that users think safe to the list of ignored items.

      The Optimization functions of Rising PC Doctor include: Optimize Startup, Process Management, Clean Plug-ins, Clean Junk Files, Clean Private Info.



2.6.1 Optimize Startup

      The function of Optimize Startup will help users check all factors that interfere startup speed and properly optimize the programs or services that not are necessarily launched at startup to enhance the startup speed.

2.6.1.1 Onekey Speedup



      This window displays the startup items, scheduled task items, service items that are suggested disabled by Rising PC Doctor. Users can customize the dangerous items that need repairing by clicking “Immediately speedup” button to batch optimize the startup items and services.

2.6.1.2 Startup Item



      This window displays all the startup items and scheduled task items in the system. Users can refer to the suggestion of Rising PC Doctor to manually enable or disable the startup items or scheduled tasks.

2.6.1.3 Startup Item and Services



      This window displays all the service items in the system. Users can refer to the suggestion of Rising PC Doctor to manually enable or disable the services.

2.6.1.4 Optimize Record



      This window displays the startup records disabled by users. Users can click “Restore Startup” button in the window to allow the programs or services to be launched when starting up computers.

2.6.2 Process management



      Process Management provides users with the function of checking the resource service condition of the programs in running process, including the processes in running of the system, the security level of each process, memory occupancy, network connections, etc.

      Users can choose one certain process to check the details of its network traffic and connections. In addition, users can check the file attributes of the programs in running process through process names, or click “End process” button to end the process.

      Process Management also has Network Traffic Monitoring window (as below), users can real time check current system downloading and uploading traffics as well as the programs of top 3 bandwidth usage.



2.6.3 Clean Plug-ins



      When the browser is launched, some programs will be loaded to the browser in the form of dynamic loadings. In order to better protect users’ computers and prevent rogue plug-ins from embezzling users’ accounts and passwords, Rising PC Doctor provides the function of Cleaning plug-ins to help users clean bad plug-ins in the browser to make it safer and smoother.

      When the function of Clean Plug-ins is started, Rising PC Doctor will automatically detect the plug-ins in the computer. For the detected plug-ins, users can click “Details” button to check the details of the plug-in, shown as below.



      Users can use default bad plug-in settings that are recommended by Rising PC Doctor, or customize the plug-ins that need cleaning by clicking “Clean immediately” button to eliminate them. Or users can check relevant plug-ins and click “Trust” button to add these plug-ins to the list of trusted items.

2.6.4 Clean junk files



      Computers will generate some system temporary files, invalid shortcuts, Office setup files, etc. during running processes. These useless files will occupy the spaces of the disks and affect the system operating efficiency of computers. Therefore, Rising PC Doctor provides the function of Cleaning junk files; users can check relevant items in accordance with their needs to scan and eliminate these junk files.

2.6.5 Clean users traces



      When users are surfing on Internet through browsers, information as cookies, browsing history in IE, records in address field, download records will be kept in the system. When users use operating systems and all application programs, all use traces will also be kept, and some of them may contain users’ privacy information. Therefore, Rising PC Doctor provides the function of cleaning users’ traces. Users can check relevant items to scan and eliminate these traces as per their needs to protect their own privacy information.
